Arlington, TN Home Transformation: Exterior Renovation + Carport to Garage Conversion
Phillips Property Solutions, LLC. completed a full exterior remodeling project and carport to garage conversion in Arlington, TN for a single-family home to update the look and function of the property. The scope included siding replacement, new gutters and shutters, a fresh exterior paint job, and a conversion of the existing carport into a two-car garage. Our approach focused on clean lines, coordinated finishes, and durable construction to give the home a cohesive, refreshed appearance.
For the siding replacement, we removed the existing material and installed new siding across the entire exterior. The new siding provides a uniform base for the rest of the exterior work and prepares the house for a complete repaint. Replacing the siding first ensured proper attachment points for the new gutters and shutters, and it allowed us to address any underlying issues before applying the exterior paint.
We installed new gutters in a black finish to complement the other exterior accents. The gutters were fitted to manage roof runoff properly and to tie into the overall color scheme. Custom-fabricated shutters were built in black to match the new front door, giving the front elevation a balanced, intentional look. The entire exterior of the home was then painted in a crisp white finish, creating a strong contrast with the black door, shutters, and gutters.
As part of the exterior remodeling in Arlington, TN, the front entry received special attention. The black front door and matching shutters were coordinated with the new gutters to create a unified aesthetic. The crisp white paint brightened the facade and made the black accents stand out, producing a classic, modern curb appeal.
The existing carport was converted into a functional two-car garage. Work began with pouring a new concrete slab to support the garage floor. After the slab cured, the space was framed in with walls to enclose the area. Electrical wiring was run to the new garage to provide lighting and power, bringing the space up to functional standards for a finished garage.
On the exterior of the new garage, we installed siding to match the rest of the house. A new entry door was added for direct access, and two garage doors and their operating system were installed to allow drive-in vehicle access. Inside the new garage space we added insulation, installed sheetrock, and finished with paint to create a clean, usable interior.
The project combined aesthetic improvements and practical upgrades, all completed by PPS in Arlington, TN. By coordinating siding, paint, shutters, gutters, and the garage conversion, the home now presents a cohesive exterior and gains valuable, finished living space with the new two-car garage. Homeowners benefit from the refreshed curb appeal and the added functionality of the enclosed garage.
