Phillips Property Solutions, LLC. in Memphis, TN completed a full kitchen and laundry area remodel that updated every major element of the space. The project included new tile flooring, new granite countertops, new kitchen cabinets, new windows, repaired sheetrock, fresh paint on walls and trim, new appliances and professional installation, all rough-in plumbing replaced, new light fixtures, and new plumbing fixtures.

We began the job with a careful walkthrough to confirm the client priorities and access points. After that, the team performed demolition and removed the existing flooring, cabinets, countertops, and any fixtures that were being replaced. Removing the old finishes first made it easier to address underlying issues such as damaged sheetrock and outdated plumbing.

All rough-in plumbing was replaced early in the process to allow for a clean installation of the new plumbing fixtures and appliances later. Updating the plumbing first made coordination with the new sink locations, dishwasher, and any appliance hookups straightforward. With plumbing roughed in, our crew repaired and replaced sheetrock where necessary to create smooth wall and ceiling surfaces ready for paint and trim.

New windows were installed to improve light and fit the updated design. Window installation was coordinated with the sheetrock repairs and paint to ensure clean lines and airtight seals. After windows and wall repairs were complete, the entire space was primed and painted, including walls and trim, to give the kitchen and laundry area a fresh, cohesive look.

Tile flooring went in next, covering both the kitchen and laundry area for a continuous floor surface. Once the tile was set and grouted, we moved on to installing the new kitchen cabinets. Cabinets were secured, leveled, and fitted to work with the planned countertop layout. New light fixtures and plumbing fixtures were installed after the major cabinet and countertop work finished. Lighting was placed to provide both task light over work areas and general light for the laundry area. Plumbing fixtures were connected to the newly roughed-in plumbing and tested to ensure proper operation and no leaks.

Finally, new appliances were brought in and professionally installed so they worked with the new cabinetry and plumbing. Throughout the project, the site was kept organized and cleaned regularly to minimize disruption.
