Germantown, TN Home Addition: Beautiful New Primary En Suite!

Phillips Property Solutions, LLC. completed a master en suite addition in Germantown, TN that transformed an underused space into a full-featured master bathroom with an integrated laundry area. The project began with a 3D rendering to establish the layout and visual plan, allowing the homeowner to see placement of the walk in shower, water closet, linen closet, and the new washer and dryer before any construction began.

After finalizing the design, our team removed existing finishes and installed entirely new framing to support the updated bathroom footprint and the load requirements for plumbing and laundry equipment. New rough in plumbing was completed to configure adding a washer and dryer into the master bathroom, and new rough in electrical was installed to provide circuits for the appliances, lighting, and outlets in the space.

Once infrastructure work was inspected and approved, the walls were sheetrocked and finished to prepare for tile and paint. Large format tile was installed on the main bathroom floor, and a separate large format tile was used on the shower walls for a clean, continuous look. The shower floor and niche received mosaic style tile to add texture and visual interest while providing proper slope and water protection where it matters most.

A freestanding bathtub was installed along with a freestanding tub fill faucet to create a focal point and a relaxing soak option in the new en suite. The walk in shower and the water closet received all new brushed nickel plumbing fixtures. A new toilet was fitted in the water closet and a new vanity was installed with matching vanity lighting and bathroom hardware to keep the aesthetic consistent.

Recessed lighting was added throughout the suite to provide even, modern illumination. Shelving was installed in the linen closet to make storage practical and accessible. Walls and trim were painted to complete the look and tie colors together across the new space.

Finally, the washer and dryer units were installed in the designated laundry area within the master en suite, delivering the intended convenience of having laundry at hand. Throughout the project, Phillips Property Solutions worked in Germantown, TN to coordinate trades, adhere to the design shown in the rendering, and sequence work so plumbing, electrical, tiling, and finish carpentry proceeded smoothly.
