This project began with full demolition of the existing bathroom, including removal of all plumbing fixtures, tile flooring, shower, tub, vanity, and a structural wall to reconfigure the layout and expand the space.

During construction, significant structural deficiencies were discovered beneath the bathroom floor, including compromised and improperly modified joists from previous work. Our team executed a structural reinforcement change order, installing full-length sister joists, replacing subflooring, and coordinating plumbing adjustments to restore proper load-bearing capacity and bring the system up to current code standards.

The renovation included new framing for a custom walk-in shower with a custom led lit niche, a freestanding tub layout, and a redesigned floor plan with improved functionality. We installed all new plumbing systems, including upgraded supply lines, drains, and multi-function brushed brass shower fixtures - including a large waterfall shower head and a deluxe slide bar. Electrical upgrades included recessed lighting, brushed brass wall sconce vanity lighting, GFCI outlets, ventilation, and smart fixture wiring.

The finish phase featured full waterproofing using cement backer board and RedGard membrane, floor-to-ceiling glossy ceramic tile installation in shade 'Ocean' in the new walk in shower, matte porcelain mosaic tile in shade 'Pearl' for the shower floor, matching glossy ceramic tile in the shade 'Ocean' for the bathtub surround, and beautiful large format matte porcelain tile in the shade 'Pearl' for the flooring throughout, installation of large free-standing airspa jet bath tub with brushed brass floor mounted tub faucet, custom shower glass with brushed brass finishes, installation of new brushed brass trim vanity mirrors and hardware, a smart function toilet, new trim carpentry, and a complete interior paint package in a beautiful neutral shade 'Westhighland White'. Exterior repairs were also completed to properly close in a removed window and match existing siding.
